THE TEACHER I WILL NEVER FORGET
I studied at Joc de la Bola nine years. During the last two years of school, I had Ramona as a tutoress. She was also my teacher of maths, science, and Catalan. She was a controversy teacher: or you loved her, or you hated her.
Ramona was a very fair teacher, but she appreciated more the students who always made an effort. She was empathetic and she used to worry for us. I remember Ramona helping me to catch up when I was missing for a competition. She organized all very well. I remember she raising her voice to organize us when we went to the stands at the end of the course. She also used to teach us some things about gardening, and I remember her explaining us how to plant a lettuce. When I studied 1st and I saw her, or I listened my family speak about her – because my sister had her as a tutoress too – I remember felling quite scared of her, but when I had Ramona as a teacher my feelings change, and then I saw her as a nice teacher.
Ramona also used to be demanding and all you gave to her had to be perfect. She used to say a phrase that said: “poc a poc I bona lletra”, and she even wrote it in a corner of the class. I remember studying a lot for her exams because she made them so difficult. I used to think that when we had an important exam, she would dress better but actually, I think that she didn’t do it on purpose. She used to be the teacher in charge of telling off. I remember that on a trip to the País Basc, she got angry with us because we were making very noise, so she decided to punish us making us sleep with the door of the room open.
All in all, Ramona was a teacher who teaches me a lot of things and for this reason is my favourite teacher and I will never forget her.

SCHOOL VS HIGH SCHOOL
Since P3, I went to Joc de la Bola school because my elder sister went there too and also because I live very near, so I used to go on foot. I remember Marina -my neighbour and friend- ringing my bell every school day to go together to the school. In the present, we still doing it. About my first three years of school, I only remember few things, such as, we had a little toy kitchen on the corridor in which I loved play. Nowadays this pleasure in cooking continues, but now I enjoy it in a real kitchen. I also remember that the teachers used to sing a song for us to collect the toys of the playground. Now, in the high school, it sounds a song which indicates that the class or the playground is over. In 1st, we had our first trip in which we stayed overnight, and I remember a lot of students crying because they miss their parents. I also remember that in the playground, we use to make balls of mud and for this reason we used to get dirty. In the present, we just sit in a bench while we have breakfast and talk. In Sant Jordi, we used to do like a little market where we sold things that, previously, we brought it or made it. I used to buy a bamboo and some cactus. Now, for Sant Jordi, we also do a little market, but this only have books and bookmarks. The last year of school it was my favorite as we were the elders ones and also as I had very fun. I remember the trip to the Pais Basc in which we stay for four days. One of these, we went to Getaria and, during the free time, while everyone were buying magnets and some things for his family, Maria, Oleguer and I decided to go to a bar and order for a tapa of croquets. They were delicious! In the high school, we only done one trip – because there was Covid 19 – in which I really enjoyed, and now I can’t wait for the next. The thing I miss the most, apart from don't do so much homework, is the food. I remember me eating those delicious fries or that tasty rice. In those times, I didn’t appreciate it and nowadays I would give anything to eat there again. I would love to go back to school but, actually, the high school is not too bad.
